God knows

God has always known our hearts far better than we do. So He didn't entrust the fullness of His plans even to those who saw His miracles and believed in Him. John 2:23-25. Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. But Jesus did not commit himself into them, because he knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

"Father in heaven, please help me to believe that You are always working in the background doing far more-- and much better-- than I know or understand.
