Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? Isaiah 45:9
And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the Potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the Potter to make it. Jeremiah 18:4
What does marred mean? To damage or spoil to a certain extent render loss, perfect, attractive, useful, impair, or spoil.
In Bible terms - Romans 3:23. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
We all have missed the mark. We all needed a Saviour. His name is Jesus Christ.
So how do Professional Potter's finish their clay products? Well it depends on how want it to look and feel like, after molding a clay into a desired shape, the Pottery Maker places in in a klin, a specialized oven that dries and hardens the clay after the piece has baked in the kiln, it is removed, painted, and then glazed.
Well that's kinda how we feel when God allows trials of life to hit us hard. Loss of a job, death of a loved one, disease, illnesses, etc. We feel like we have been put in a fiery furnace! Its In these situations is where God is shaping us, molding us into the character of His Son Jesus Christ.
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:7

Valerie Brantley of Carson California wrote, Just as God created Jesus to be born who He is to be in Him. God molds a Good work in Christ to be the Likeness of Himself and begins for us to be the Blueprint for His masterpiece. Just as His only begotten Son. We are one in Christ and our Lord and Saviour.
Excellent teaching sis. Thanks for sharing
Missy Hughes Smith of St Louis Missouri wrote He makes and molds us by disciplinary and teaching us to be obedient to his Word and puts us in the wheel. Because He understands when we fall and He will make us over again. But at the same time, He's making and molding us. It's just like clay. You keep working with it until it gets all the lumps out. No, bumps or lumps. God is doing the same thing in our lives today. He is making and molding us to be all that He has called us to be. He will work with us until it is right for Him. That's why we have a responsibility to continue to pray askin…
Thank you and you’re welcome!
