Abide in the Vine. We are the branches. Jesus is the vine. His Father God is the husbandman? A person who cultivates the land, farmer.

If we abide in the Vine. We will prosper, apart from Jesus (vine) we can do nothing. We bring forth good fruit when we abide in Jesus through reading, studying and meditating on God's Holy Word - the Bible. Abide means to comply, to remain, to conform to. The scriptures say Blessed (happy) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness shall be filled! Matthew 5:6:We are in His will when we abide in the true Vine, Jesus. The vine can't produce it's fruit without branches, and the branches can't provide their own nourishment to produce fruit. As believers are connected, fruitful believers infused with the Spirit and the Word - will be able to pray in faith and receive. Because their will is conformed to Christ. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. Galatians 5:22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Just as our natural bodies need vitamins and minerals to produce good eyesight (Vitamin A ) Vitamin E ( prevent coronary diseases. Vitamin C protection of our immune system. Just to name a few. They keep our bodies nourished and healthy. Along with exercise. Don't forget to also feed your spirit everyday by reading, studying, meditating and digesting God's Word to keep your spirit nourished and healthy.
